The ASX-listed company has its focus on gold exploration with holdings at the Tennant Creek Project in the Northern Territory and at the Mt Remarkable Project in the Kimberley region of northern Western Australia.
Tennant Creek includes a vast stretch of land with very prospective ground where extremely competitive exploration has been undertaken and substantial results for gold and copper have been returned. Next, Mt Remarkable represents a high-grade epithermal gold discovery that brings with it eminent opportunity for further high-grade gold discoveries.

Tennant Creek Project
Situated to the east, southeast and south of the historic goldfields of Tennant Creek, KRR’s Tennant Creek Project includes copper as well as gold exploration leases. The tenements are held by Treasure Creek Pty Ltd, which is a 100% subsidiary of King River Resources. In total, the company has about 17 tenements highly prospective for gold and copper spanning over an area of 6,641 km2.
In fiscal year ended 30 June 2023, the ongoing geophysical works at Tennant Creek remained KRR’s primary focus area. The IP work centred around Tennant East and Kurundi locations and numerous airborne magnetics were carried out at the new Pioneer Project and the Barkly areas.

While several targets have already been defined by the company and required gravity work has been completed, the geophysical processing and modelling of the collected data is in process.
Now, the company is planning to conduct additional gravity surveys at the site.
Mt Remarkable Project
Situated 200km southwest of Kununurra in East Kimberley, Western Australia, the Mt Remarkable Project covers four tenements totalling 351 km2 and is prospective for gold and copper. The tenements, held by KRR’s wholly owned subsidiary Whitewater Minerals, include the prospective Whitewater Volcanic rocks.

So far, numerous reverse circulation and diamond core drill campaigns have been completed within the Mt Remarkable field and high-grade gold mineralisation has been intersected at the Trudi Vein. The most significant result was 4m @ 113.29g/t Au including 1m @ 346g/t Au.
King River Resources is focused on undertaking exploration across the epithermal vein systems in the region with high-grade gold prospective targets in similar litho-structural characteristics to the Mt Remarkable main and Hunter Prospects.
