Cooper Metals Limited (ASX: CPM) has commenced reverse circulation (RC) drilling on five key copper-gold prospects at the Mt Isa East project, located within 10km of area.

The RC drilling campaign follows the reconnaissance sampling results received in August.

The scout drilling program would see around 14 RC holes covering 1,600m. The company expects to conclude the campaign in two to three weeks. Follow up drilling planning is dependent upon the RC drilling assay results.

Shares jump 8.6%

Triggered by the update, CPM shares jumped by 8.695% to trade at AU$0.125 apiece at the time of writing on 5 October 2023.
