Highlights:

  • A new phase of drilling has commenced at the Dulcie Far North Gold Project.

  • The program aims to explore extensions and enhance resource estimates.

  • Drilling outcomes are expected within the year to support project development.

Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC), listed on ASX as ZNC, has initiated an expanded drilling campaign at the Dulcie Far North Gold Project in Western Australia. This phase of exploration is part of the company’s broader strategy to define and extend gold resources within the region. The current inferred resource stands at an estimated 210,000 ounces, with ongoing work focused on increasing both scale and confidence in these estimates.

Drilling Program Details

The drilling initiative consists of multiple reverse circulation drill holes designed to assess mineralized zones within the project area. A key aspect of this effort is to explore new extensions beyond the previously identified footprint. The results from this phase will contribute to the ongoing scoping study, which is evaluating development strategies for the project.

Operational Strategy

Red Rock Drilling has been engaged for the execution of the program, continuing its involvement in past successful drilling efforts at the site. The latest phase follows a previously recorded increase in inferred resources, reinforcing the ongoing commitment to expanding mineralized zones within the project area.

Project Location and Resource Expansion

Situated within the Yilgarn Craton, the project spans a vast landholding that supports exploration and development initiatives. The company is utilizing historical data alongside modern exploration techniques, including surface sampling and regolith mapping, to refine geological models and identify additional zones of interest.

Corporate Direction

Zenith Minerals continues to focus on its gold exploration portfolio, with activities extending beyond Dulcie Far North. Other projects, including Red Mountain in Queensland, are progressing in parallel, contributing to the company’s presence in the sector. Independent studies have highlighted geological features at Red Mountain that align with broader mineral system models, further strengthening exploration strategies.

Ongoing Exploration Efforts

Field mapping, data collection, and regional geological assessments remain key components of the company’s approach. These efforts aim to support long-term project development by refining resource estimates and optimizing exploration strategies. With drilling operations actively underway, further insights into mineralization and resource distribution are expected in the coming months.
