China plans to slash the minimum capital ratio requirement to enhance the financial effectiveness for infrastructure projects.

  • The nation decided to reduce the ratio for the infrastructure projects concerning ports and shipping infrastructure by 5 per cent from 25 per cent and further determined to reduce the ratio by 5 per cent for the social services infrastructure.
  • The iron ore futures were supported by the recent policies change in China in the international market.
