Champion Iron Announces a Proposal to Re-Domicile to Canada

Champion Iron Limited (ASX: CIA) has announced a proposal to re-domicile from Australia to Canada by the way of Scheme of arrangement. A few reasons for the Re-Domiciliation are listed below:

  • The Re- D-domiciliation will increase the attractiveness of champion Canada to the more diverse financial market and institutional investors.
  • Champion Canada may become eligible for inclusion in Canadian indices.
  • The active listed on ASX and TSX would be retained.
  • The Re- domiciliation would align the parent domicile of the newly listed parent company with its assets and operations.

At AEDT (1:23 PM), the stock was trading at $2.900, up by 3.203 per cent from the previous close.
