Bellamy's FY19 Revenues Down 19%; EBITDA Declines 46%

Organic producer, Bellamy’s Australia Limited (ASX: BAL), in the full-year results for FY19, reported that leading consumer indicators are positive, including increasing e-commerce sales, brand interest, consumer pricing and trade economics.

FY2019 was a challenging period for the company, owing to regulations, increased competition for Chinese demand, and low birth rate.

Revenues were down by 19% to $266.2 million in FY2019 compared to revenues of $328.7 million in FY2018. EBITDA was down by 46% to $34.9 million from $64.6 million in the previous corresponding period. Meanwhile, NPAT was down by 49.3% to $21.7 million for the period against $42.8 million in FY2018.
