Ford have locked out the front-row for Holden's last Supercars race after Anton De Pasquale secured his first pole since April.
It will be a Shell V-Power one-two for Sunday's 78-lap race at the Adelaide 500 with Will Davison qualifying second.
De Pasquale has endured a difficult season, winning just one race and his only previous pole came at the Perth Supernight event eight months ago.
But it all came together for the 27-year-old during the top-10 shootout.
"(The car) hooked up awesome, the guys have done an amazing job so to get the last pole of the year is awesome," De Pasquale said.
"We obviously want to convert that into a trophy but a good way to end the year so far."
Red Bull Ampol cars will start third and fourth after Broc Feeney and Shane van Gisbergen responded from a disappointing day on Saturday.
The pair will be looking to repeat the Holden heroics of Chaz Mostert and Nick Percat, who secured a Walkinshaw Andretti United one-two in the return to racing around Adelaide's streets for the first time since 2020.
General Motors retired the Holden brand in 2020, announcing it just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic began, but the Commodore has lived on in motor racing.
However, with Gen3 cars ready to launch next year, Chevrolet Camaros will replace Holdens on the grid to battle the Ford Mustangs.
The final race of the season will get underway at 2.45 pm CDT.
