 What All You Need To Know About The FTSE’s Performance On March 26, 2019?

London’s broader equity benchmark index FTSE 100 ended 18.71 points higher against its previous close, with Technology and Healthcare were among the top performing sectors on the FTSE 100 Index in the Tuesday’s session.

Global Updates: Shares in the United States were trading in green in the Tuesday’s session, with Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) was up by 78.95.91 points or 0.31% to 25,595.78, the S&P 500 index rose by 11.52 points or 0.41% at 2,809.88 and the technology benchmark index Nasdaq Composite increased by 30.66 points or 0.40% to 7,668.20 respectively.

US Treasury yields bounced back of 15-months lows on March 26 while global equity benchmark increased after a two-session decline, as risk longing improved after agonizing of a worldwide recession.

Brexit News: Conservative government witnessed another political quash on Monday night, as MPs of the UK’s Parliament voted to take control of the Brexit time table from the conservative government on Wednesday, to exercise a series of indicative votes to try to fix what course of action could hold a majority in the House.

European Market Updates:  In the Tuesday’s session European broader equity benchmark FTSE 100 index ended 18.71 points or 0.26% higher at 7,196.29, the FTSE 250 index increased by 96.68 points or 0.51% to 18,896.24, and the FTSE All-Share index added 10.83 points or 0.28% and ended the session at 3,932.74 respectively. Another European equity benchmark index STOXX 600 ended 2.87 points or 0.77% higher at 377.20.

London Stock Exchange (LSE) Cues

Top Performers: Stocks like ALLIED MINDS PLC (ALM), CLARKSON PLC (CKN) and ENQUEST PLC (ENQ) were among the top performers on the LSE and were up by 9.85%, 7.92% and 6.29% respectively.

Top Losers: Stocks like CARNIVAL PLC (CCL), CARPETRIGHT PLC (CPR) and FERGUSON PLC (FERG) were among the laggards on the LSE and were down by 8.46%, 7.98% and 7.16% respectively.

Broader Market FTSE 100 Cues

Gainers: Stocks like OCADO GROUP PLC (OCDO), JUST EAT PLC (JE.) and EVRAZ PLC (EVR) were among the top gainers in the Tuesday’s session on the broader equity benchmark FTSE 100 index and were up by 4.10 per cent, 3.83 per cent, and 2.59 per cent respectively.

Laggards: Stocks like CARNIVAL PLC (CCL), FERGUSON PLC (FERG) and EASYJET PLC (EZJ) were among the top laggards on the FTSE 100 index in the Tuesday’s session and were down by 8.46 per cent, 7.16 per cent, and 2.77 per cent respectively.

Top Active Volume Movers: Stocks like LLOYDS BANKING GROUP PLC (LLOY), VODAFONE GROUP PLC (VOD), and BARCLAYS PLC (BARC) were among the top active volume stocks on the FTSE 100 Index.

Sector Summary: In the Tuesday's market session sectors like Technology, Healthcare and Utilities were among the top performing sectors on the broader equity benchmark index FTSE 100. Sectors like Consumer Cyclicals and Financials were among the laggards on the broader equity benchmark index FTSE 100.
