UK inflation in November 2019 remained under the BoE’s threshold of 2.0%

  • Inflation in the British economy for the November 2019, remained unchanged against the month-over period at 1.5% and well below the Bank of England’s threshold limit of 2.0%.
  • Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuel are the largest contributor in November 2019 inflation rate, however, biggest downside contributed from accommodation services and tobacco.
  • Unchanged inflation rate has also supported GBP and sent it 0.0031 pence or 0.24% higher to 1.3038 against the US Dollars.
