Total S.A Reports Start Of Production From Johan Sverdrup Field

  • Total S.A. (TTA) has reported that more than two months ahead of schedule and with a reduced cost of more than 30 per cent, the production from Phase 1 of the giant Johan Sverdrup field has started.
  • Johan Sverdrup field along with the company is being operated by Equinor with the majority stake along with Petoro, Lundin Norway and Aker BP.
  • The total outlay in Johan Sverdrup field is $10.5 billion and plateau production is 440k barrels per day.
  • On 7th October 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 12:24 PM, TTA shares were trading at EUR 44.59, down by 0.27 points or 0.59 per cent against the previous day closing price.
