Steppe Cement Limited Reports A 10% Revenue Decline In Q3 FY19

  • Steppe Cement Limited (STCM) has come up with Market Update for the third quarter ended 30 September 2019.
  • The company has reported a 10 per cent revenue decline in the third quarter to KZT 10,560 million as compared to KZT 11,696 million reported in the corresponding quarter in 2018. However, for the 9 months ended 30 September 2019, the company reported a revenue increase of 10 per cent to KZT 24,639 million as compared to KZT 22,416 million in the same period of 2018.
  • The average price (ex-VAT) for delivered cement for the company stood at KZT 18,157 per tonne in the first 9 months compared with KZT 16,161 per tonne last year.
  • On 7th October 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 08:05 AM, STCM shares were trading at GBX 27.50, down by 1.70 points or 5.82% against the previous day closing price.
