John Laing Group Plc to invest A$51.5 million in the East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility

John Laing Group Plc (LON: JLG) has entered into an agreement to invest A$51.5 million or around £28 million in the East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility in Perth, Australia.

  • The fresh investment will take company’s total commitment in 2019 to around £185 million.
  • The East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility, once operational will process around 300,000 tonnes of residual waste per year, the equal to taking 70,000 cars off the road.
  • On 24th December 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 08:05 AM, JLG shares were trading at GBX 377.80, up by 0.80 points or 0.21% against the previous day closing price.
