The company completed the share buyback programme on 30 August 2019. It repurchased 5,225,933 ordinary shares at a VWAP of 234 pence per share.

The company’s share capital comprised of 229,429, 566 ordinary shares on the completion of the exercise.

The company intends to initiate the remainder of the buyback programme worth US$25 million at a future date.

On 2nd September 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 08:25 AM, GKP shares were trading at GBX 235.00, down by 2.00 points or 0.84% against the previous day closing price.
