Greene King Plc Reports 1.8% Decline In LFL Sales For Q1

Greene King Plc (LSE: GNK), in its trading updates for Q1 to 1 September 2019 has reported that Like-for-like (LFL) sales in Pub Company grew 1.5% over the last seven weeks and, on a two-year basis, were up 2.4%. However, reflecting the tough comparatives of last year's successful World Cup and good weather, the LFL sales were down 1.8% for the first 18 weeks.

On 6th September 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 08:05 AM, GNK shares were trading at GBX 840.80, flat against the previous day closing price.
