GBP tested a seven-months high level of 1.3228 against US Dollar in the December 12, 2019 trading session.

  Amid increasing optimism over potential victory of Boris Johnson-led Tories in the general election, which would provide adequate mandate to the PM Johnson to break political and economic impasse, the British Pound touched a seven-month high level of 1.3228 against the US Dollar. However, it clawed back early gains and at the time of writing at 02: 00 PM GMT, GBP traded 0.21% lower to 1.3167 against the US Dollar.
