One of 10 men charged over a bikie gang defector's murder has faced court for a string of other offences.

On remand after Shane Bowden's 2020 shooting death, Fidel Gunes on Thursday received a jail term in Brisbane District Court for a total of 18 charges.

Gunes, 30, was "wilfully blind" to four stolen trucks and trailers - including one worth $80,000 - being parked at his holding yard in Brisbane's south, the court heard.

When police searched his Victoria Point property in December 2017, they also found five weapons, mostly revolvers, in a shipping container.

The guns were being stored there by "other persons", defence barrister Martin Longhurst said.

The next year Gunes was arrested again when he tried to sell a stolen trailer worth $55,000.

An employee noticed for sale on Gumtree the trailer stolen from his logistics company and asked the seller for an inspection.

When Gunes arrived with the trailer, he was intercepted by police.

Gunes made a threatening gesture before telling the logistics company owner: "I will get you."

The court heard Gunes months later bumped into the company owner at a Rocklea business before locking him in an office and assaulting him.

He had received a suspended jail term on wilful damage and assault occasioning bodily harm charges for the Rocklea incident, the court heard.

Gunes on Thursday also appeared on 14 counts of making false declarations between May 2015 and August 2019.

The court heard he made statutory declarations nominating a fictitious person as the driver after receiving traffic infringement notices in a bid to avoid penalty.

He pleaded guilty to all 14 counts.

Gunes on Thursday also pleaded guilty to one count each of receiving tainted property, unlawful weapon possession, attempted fraud to the value of $30,000 or more and threatening violence.

He breached suspended sentence orders imposed in June 2015 and August 2019 with some of the offending, the court heard.

Judge Paul Smith sentenced Gunes to four years in jail.

He is eligible for parole from Thursday, with 509 days in custody declared time served.

Gunes is on remand after Bowden was shot 21 times by two gunmen in the driveway of his Gold Coast home in October 2020.

Nine other alleged Mongols members have also been charged with his murder.
