An accused drug trafficker who's successfully evaded capture after allegedly threatening several people with a semi-automatic weapon is likely being harboured by associates, Queensland Police say.

Mitchell Wilson, who's considered armed and dangerous, has been on the run since the incidents involving the firearm and a house fire that happened around Brisbane last Thursday.

Police received three calls about possible sightings of the 27-year-old on Monday but none have been substantiated, Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham told reporters on Tuesday.

Officers are currently following three lines of inquiry on the north side of Brisbane.

Asked if he believed Mr Wilson was being harboured by associates, Det Sup Massingham said "I do".

"If you know of Mr Wilson's whereabouts, or you are harbouring him, it will only be a matter of time before we will catch up with you," he added.

"I urge Mr Wilson to hand himself in, and to negotiate his safe surrender."

It's alleged Mr Wilson was involved in three separate altercations around Brisbane's north and south on Thursday, two of which involved shots being fired and another where a house was set alight and destroyed.

Several people believed to be known to Mr Wilson were caught up in the incidents but no one was physically injured.

An ankle monitoring bracelet Mr Wilson was wearing as part of bail conditions related to alleged drug trafficking offences was left in the suburb of Bracken Ridge on Thursday.

A special emergency response team is involved in the manhunt, which has entered its fifth day, as well as detectives and intelligence analysts.
