What is the idea behind it?
Luke Todd, CEO of EVDirect and a Sydney native is enthusiastic about restoring life to a pollution-free, cleaner, and more liveable Australia for the benefit of all current and future generations. "Now is the time to buy an EV, and now is the time to launch the most exciting EV company in the world, BYD," Luke continues.
The NSW Government has committed to transitioning its entire fleet of 8000 buses to zero-emission by 2030. Luke pioneered electric buses in Australia as early as 2014 and many clean electric buses now serving Sydney and across the country. Other state governments have also committed to zero-emission transportation.
Following this accomplishment, Luke has shifted his attention to passenger vehicles, partnering with BYD to bring some of the world's most technologically sophisticated and cheap electric automobiles to Australia.

More about Atto 3
The BYD Atto 3's initial photographs surfaced earlier this month, showcasing the car's sleek SUV styling and landscape-oriented touchscreen on a moulded two-tone dash.
A gleaming red BYD Han has also been spotted ahead of Saturday's BYD launch in Sydney. The photos went viral on social media on Wednesday (16 February 2022), prompting a flurry of responses.
Bottom Line
EVDirect said in a press release that the launch of EV cars would allow the people to drive away in a new BYD with zero dollars down payment and an interest rate as low as 3.81%. This means buyers can save a massive amount from day one, as with EV's you don’t need to get fuel worth hundreds of dollars.
