TOKYO, Sept. 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Nippon Express Automotive Logistics (China) Co., Ltd. (hereafter "NX Automotive Logistics China"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., obtained ISO 14064-1:2018 certification (for greenhouse gas --GHG-- emission calculation systems) and ISO 45001:2018 certification (for occupational health and safety management systems) as well as a AAA credit agency rating in July this year.

NX Automotive Logistics China had previously acquired ISO 9001:2015 (for quality management systems) and ISO 14001:2015 (for environmental management systems) certifications. The company has now obtained the following certifications with the aims of creating healthier work environments that give greater consideration to employee safety and providing reliable low-carbon logistics services by calculating GHG emissions based on international standards.

ISO 14064-1:2018 (for GHG emission calculation systems)
This international standard for calculating and verifying corporate GHG emissions was established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to improve the transparency and reliability of corporate calculations of GHG emissions, and serves as an indicator that a company is environmentally responsible and sustainable. In keeping with the NX Group Environmental Charter, the Group is seeking to reduce various risks in its organizations' natural and working environments in order to fulfill the Group's responsibilities to the global environment.

ISO 45001:2018 (for occupational health and safety management systems)
This certification is designed to help companies establish and implement effective occupational health and safety management systems to ensure the health and safety of their employees, reduce the risk of accidents and occupational illnesses, and improve the level of safety management and comprehensive control within companies. Based on the NX Group Safety Philosophy of "safety takes precedence over everything else," the Group will continue to improve working environments and reduce the risk of work-related accidents by placing the highest priority on ensuring safety and health in working environments, and by aiming for workplaces where all employees involved in business activities can work safely and securely.

NX Automotive Logistics China also received a AAA credit rating from Zhongxu Credit Reporting Co., Ltd. on Monday, July 8, and the company remains committed to being a trusted partner supporting the business expansion of its customers in the Chinese market.
