Navitas Signs Pact With The University of Leicester To Operate Its Global Study Centre

Navitas Limited (ASX: NVT) offers educational services. The Company provides English language training, high school courses, university preparation, university programs, career advancement programs and migrant settlement services to students, professionals, and migrants.

Navitas Ltd. has announced that it has inked a pact with the University of Leicester to operate its Global Study Centre which is located in proximity with the University’s campus in Leicester, UK. The Centre will provide a university-level foundation education across a broad range of subjects.

This will enable various international students drawn from a geographically diverse population to progress to degree program study at the University of Leicester. Further programs, including an International Year One program in Business and Management, are slated to be introduced by the parties over time. Subject to customary regulatory approvals, Navitas expects to commence operating the centre from September 2019. This agreement is for a period of 5-year initially.

The Navitas Group Chief Executive Officer, David Buckingham has said that the management is delighted to be partnering with the University of Leicester to deliver its Global Study Centre as an essential part of its Global Recruitment Strategy to significantly increase the proportion of international students attending the University.

The University of Leicester is an outstanding world ranked top 200 University, with whom the management of Navitas is excited to be partnering with. The University has demonstrated a strong commitment to being a world leader in all aspects of research and engagement, education and the broader student experience over the last ten years.
