Decentralised finance (DeFi) smart wallet company Giddy is integrating the leading payment provider Stripe to enable a seamless way to buy cryptocurrency directly from the Giddy mobile app.

Giddy’s integration with Stripe aims to make cryptocurrencies more accessible to the general public by expanding fiat-to-crypto purchase options with an easy and reliable payment gateway.

Users can now select Stripe as the crypto purchase option to fund their self-custody crypto wallet in a seamless experience. Stripe integration enables buying crypto with bank transfers, cards, Apple Pay and other methods supported by the payment gateway.

Giddy is also launching a native Bitcoin network support. The new addition will expand Giddy’s ground-breaking multi-factor private key solution to support Bitcoin, the world’s most popular cryptocurrency, in addition to Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon networks – with more on the way.

Company CEO Eric Parker said Giddy is thrilled with the new additions:

I’m excited to announce this integration with Stripe because it’s one of the best ways to buy crypto. Stripe is fast, easy, and actually works! It’s an amazing way for new users to get started and for experienced users to grab more crypto at the speed of the markets.”

Giddy’s smart wallet is known for its unique security features for self-custody, wherein a user’s private key is separated into multiple encrypted shares and linked to hardware and software that only they control. It’s also known to aim at significantly simplifying crypto for everyday users. Its user-friendly mobile app integrates various functions, allowing users to purchase, send, trade, earn, and shop using cryptocurrencies.

Those interest can Download the Giddy mobile app on the App Store and on Google Play as of December 13th.
