  1. Robe Town Brewery: 97 Millicent Rd, Robe SA, 5276

If there is one brewery that has made its own special space in the beer scene of South Australia it would without a doubt be the Robe Town Brewery. Being as new as 6 years old, this brewery started operations in 2013 and is now the only commercial brewery that uses a wood fire kettle for brewing purposes. This brewery is the first one to take to the path of restoring ?craft? in craft beer. Keeping this in mind, Australian made barley and Australian grown hops are used by the brewery, as are other locally made ingredients. The wood-fired kettle's natural strength, as well as the subtle flavors created from the oak barrel mash tun, straw filtration and open fermentation all cure a distinctive taste for its brews.

The complete ambiance and vibe of this brewery have been created by a team of passionate people heading on different responsibilities. A distinctive stake in the thriving independent craft beer market has been set by the creative team behind this small, rustic and quirky brewery. Although the beer is all about returning to basics, the honest approach of Robe Town produces flavorful brews that taste far from plain. So, when you visit, you are bound to be awestruck and come back with an everlasting taste of their beer.
