Highlights

  • Electric Royalties provides updates on seven key royalties in its portfolio, with significant progress across multiple projects, including the Zonia copper project in Arizona and the Råna nickel-copper-cobalt project in Norway.
  • The company is focused on advancing projects in various sectors, such as battery minerals, including manganese and graphite, which are crucial for electric vehicle batteries and energy storage systems.
  • Ongoing exploration and metallurgical advancements in the portfolio reflect a strong commitment to developing critical minerals necessary for the global transition to electrification.

Electric Royalties Ltd., a royalty company focused on the Utility sector, has provided an update on several of its key projects, highlighting significant progress across a diverse range of battery and metal assets. The company, which holds royalties in lithium, nickel, copper, cobalt, and other essential minerals, is positioned to benefit from the growing global demand for these materials, particularly as the shift toward electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy accelerates.

Significant Resource Progress at Zonia Copper Project

Electric Royalties Ltd. (TSXV:ELEC) recently announced a significant resource upgrade at the Zonia copper project, located in Arizona. The copper sector plays a pivotal role in the electrification movement, as copper is integral to energy transmission and EV manufacturing. The company’s continued focus on copper aligns with global trends of increased demand for this essential metal. The Zonia project is advancing steadily, and the company remains optimistic about its future contributions.

Råna Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in Norway

In the nickel-copper-cobalt sector, Electric Royalties holds a 1% net smelter return royalty on the Råna project, located in Norway. The project has seen continued investment from Kingsrose Mining, which recently completed its 51% interest earn-in and intends to increase its stake further by making additional investments. Nickel, copper, and cobalt are vital components in EV batteries, and the Råna project’s progress underpins the importance of these metals in Electric Royalties’ portfolio.

Advancements in Manganese and Graphite Projects

The Battery Hill manganese project, another key asset, is advancing through metallurgical improvements as Manganese X Energy prepares for a prefeasibility study. Manganese is essential for EV batteries, and high-purity samples from the project have already passed important tests. Additionally, the Graphite Bull project in Australia continues to progress, with ongoing drilling expected to support a mineral resource estimate in the near future. Graphite is a crucial material for lithium-ion battery anodes, further highlighting the strategic importance of Electric Royalties’ portfolio.

The diverse range of projects under Electric Royalties’ management reflects the company’s commitment to advancing key resources critical to the electrification movement. As global industries transition toward cleaner energy solutions, Electric Royalties is well-positioned to capitalize on this shift.
