Volume Movers
On the TSX, Toronto-Dominion Bank recorded massive one-day volume volume of 17.13 million, followed by Bombardier Inc with 8.5 million shares and TC Energy Corp with 6.5 million traded shares.
Markets:
While the Canadian markets rallied on Tuesday, US markets were bearish. Among the major indices, the S&P 500 Index declined by 0.10% to 4,073.94, Nasdaq Composite index down by 0.05% to 13,698.38 and Dow Jones down by 0.29% to 33,430.24.
Yields:
On Tuesday, the US 10-Year Treasury Bond declined by 2.91% to 1.65 while Canada 10-Year Government Bond Yield dipped by 4.31% to 1.48.
Commodity and Currency Update
WTI Crude Oil Future moved up by 1.16% to US$ 59.33/bbl on Tuesday followed by the Brent Oil Futures up by 0.95% to US$ 62.745/bbl. Gold Futures prices showed upside of ~0.84% to US$ 1,741.50/oz.
The USD/CAD up 0.34% to 1.25 on Tuesday while the US Dollar Index down by 0.27% as compared to other currencies at 92.348.
