Bottom line

The cryptocurrency market brings prospects of getting stellar returns. However, there's always a risk of losing money due to its high volatility.

Additionally, crypto scams have risen over the past few years, and many people have been duped off their money.

Recently, celebrities drew criticism for promoting cryptocurrencies in which people invested and lost their money. Also, a lawsuit was filed against celebrity Kim Kardashian and former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather.

It is always advisable to research and evaluate options before jumping in the crypto market.
