Paypal Sign-Ups Trippled in Australia | ASX Market Updates

Signups to PayPal Australia have almost tripled during the COVID-19 pandemic as Australians flock to online shopping, the payments giant says. PayPal said that in April it processed its highest number of transactions and the largest total value of payments in Australia since it entered the country's market in 2005, although it declined to give figures.

Shopping malls owner Vicinity Centres has axed its dividend and is raising $1.4 billion through a share sale to manage the impact on its business caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Vicinity, said there had been a significant and broad-reaching impact on communities and businesses from COVID-19.

Financial markets software company Iress Ltd is set to acquire ASX-listed OneVue and fund the deal with an equity raising. Goldman Sachs' equities desk was lining up funds for the raising on Monday morning.
