The patent exclusively covers a novel non-maximum suppression (NMS) hardware block, which is a mere 0.06 square millimeters in size, making it over 90% smaller than standard alternatives. EMASS's NMS hardware delivers impressive efficiency by handling up to 10,000 bounding boxes per second while consuming less than 1 megawatt of power.
