archTIS (ASX:AR9) has announced the appointment of Gerard Foley as Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, effective from January 6, 2025. This leadership addition aims to boost sales growth, operational efficiency, and strategic direction across the APAC software business.   

With over two decades of experience in high-technology, defence, and national security sectors, Foley’s career highlights his ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive revenue growth. His expertise spans complex sales strategies and procurement processes across markets in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union, and Southeast Asia.   

Daniel Lai, CEO and Managing Director of archTIS, expressed confidence in Foley’s leadership, stating his appointment is set to elevate the company’s regional strategy and enhance its market position. Lai emphasized Foley’s extensive knowledge in defence sales and his proven track record in influencing growth across multiple sectors as key strengths.   

Foley’s professional background includes senior roles at Raytheon Australia, where he led business growth, strategy, and development efforts. Notably, he served as Regional Director for South Asia at Raytheon International, gaining extensive experience in international markets. Before transitioning into corporate leadership, Foley built a distinguished military career, specializing in aviation engineering, leadership development, and capital equipment acquisition. A graduate of the Royal Military College, he holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Science in Defence Technology from the Royal Military College of Science in the United Kingdom.   

His board position at the Sir Richard Williams Foundation further highlights his leadership in defence innovation. Reflecting on his new role, Foley expressed enthusiasm for contributing to the continued success of archTIS, emphasizing the company’s commitment to safeguarding sensitive information through advanced technology.   

The strategic addition of Foley underscores archTIS’ focus on expanding its APAC market presence. With his extensive leadership experience in international sales and defence, Foley is well-positioned to support the company’s growth trajectory. His insights into technology and procurement will play a key role in executing operational strategies and achieving long-term objectives for archTIS (AR9).
