Highlights

  • Strong gold mineralization confirmed at the Henderson Gold Project
  • Rock chip sampling identifies high-grade surface gold deposits
  • Stage 2 drilling planned to explore deeper potential

Venus Metals (ASX:VMC) has delivered promising exploration updates from its Henderson Gold Project in Western Australia. The latest Stage 1 drilling campaign at the historic Hilltop Gold Mine has revealed significant gold mineralization, reinforcing the site's potential for high-grade discoveries.

The drilling program intercepted 4 meters at 10.3 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, starting from a depth of 24 meters. Notably, within this interval, a peak grade of 25.1 g/t gold over 1 meter was recorded, further enhancing confidence in the prospectivity of the deposit.

Rock Chip Sampling Confirms High-Grade Surface Gold

In addition to drilling success, rock chip sampling at Hilltop and surrounding regional targets has provided further encouragement. The Southern Line, in particular, yielded rock samples with gold grades reaching up to 17.8 g/t, underscoring the presence of high-grade surface mullock.

Furthermore, additional sampling in the Snake Hill area returned gold grades as high as 14.03 g/t, reinforcing the potential for broader mineralization beyond the Hilltop target. These findings highlight the extensive gold-bearing system within the project area, paving the way for more in-depth exploration.

Next Steps: Expanding Exploration to Unlock Full Potential

With these positive results in hand, Venus Metals (ASX:VMC) is gearing up for Stage 2 reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Hilltop deposit. This phase will focus on determining the orientation and depth of the high-grade lode, which could lead to a better understanding of the deposit’s continuity.

Additionally, based on the encouraging rock chip sample results, further exploration efforts will be directed toward the Snake Hill prospect. The goal is to assess its resource potential and define new targets for future drilling campaigns.

The latest findings reaffirm the strong potential of the Henderson Gold Project as Venus Metals (VMC) continues to advance exploration efforts. With high-grade gold mineralization already confirmed, upcoming drilling and fieldwork could unlock even greater value within this prospective gold-rich region.
