Highlights

  • Strickland Metals initiates a detailed ground gravity survey at the Yandal Gold Project.
  • Updated Mineral Resource estimate for Horse Well Gold Camp expected in April 2025.
  • Strong financial position with $33.8 million in cash and NST shares.

Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) has taken a significant step forward in its exploration activities by launching a high-resolution ground gravity survey at its Yandal Gold Project. This survey will focus on the Dusk ‘til Dawn Intrusion-Related Gold (IRG) targets, aiming to refine drill targets and enhance exploration outcomes.

To support this initiative, approximately 170 bottom-of-hole samples from past aircore drilling have been submitted for comprehensive mineral characterisation and multi-element analysis. The data from these tests will play a crucial role in optimising future drill programs and improving the understanding of the mineral system at Yandal.

Mineral Resource Update on the Horizon

The company is also preparing for a Mineral Resource update for the Horse Well Gold Camp, a key part of the Yandal Project. This update, expected in early April 2025, will integrate results from significant Reverse Circulation (RC) and Diamond drilling programs completed over recent months. These programs were aimed at identifying high-value ounces suitable for open-pit and potential underground mining.

The resource update is expected to provide further clarity on the project's potential and support the company’s ongoing strategy of unlocking value from its gold assets.

Financial Strength Supports Exploration Plans

With a strong financial position, Strickland Metals remains well-capitalized to support its exploration efforts. As of the end of the December 2024 quarter, the company reported $33.8 million in cash and NST shares, ensuring ample resources to fund its ongoing and upcoming drilling programs. This financial strength positions the company well for sustained exploration and project development.

Upcoming Investor Webinar

To provide further insights into its exploration strategy, Strickland Metals has scheduled an Investor and Shareholder Webinar on Thursday, 20 March 2025. Technical Director Richard Pugh will discuss the latest developments at the Dusk ‘til Dawn IRG targets, offering investors a deeper understanding of the company’s exploration progress and future plans.

Commenting on the survey launch, Richard Pugh stated, “We have expedited commencement of the gravity survey to kick off our 2025 exploration programs at the Yandal Gold Project and bring forward the planned drilling of Dusk ‘til Dawn.”

With a well-funded position, a focused exploration strategy, and an upcoming resource update, Strickland Metals is actively advancing its Yandal Gold Project, aiming to unlock significant value in the coming months.
