Highlights

  • Native Mineral Resources (NMR) has received a crucial $2.26 million funding instalment.
  • Funds to support the revival of gold production at Charters Towers, targeting Q3 2025 for initial output.
  • Investment strengthens NMR's position in advancing significant gold projects in Queensland.

Native Mineral Resources Holdings Limited (ASX:NMR) recently bolstered its financial standing through a $2.26 million investment received from Wes Maas, CEO and Managing Director of Maas Group Holdings (ASX:MGH). This contribution forms part of a larger $6.8 million commitment by Maas under what is referred to as the Maas Placement. This infusion is a segment of a broader financing strategy that included a non-renounceable Entitlement Offer, successfully raising a total of $15.9 million.

The allocation of these funds is directed towards a strategic revival of gold production at NMR’s Charters Towers assets located in North Queensland. The project's development is progressing, with current efforts focusing on the Far Fanning and Blackjack gold deposits. Additionally, the refurbishment of the Blackjack Processing Plant is underway, promising to bolster the infrastructure necessary for future mining operations.

Blake Cannavo, Managing Director of Native Mineral Resources, commented on the importance of this financial milestone, emphasizing that it marks significant progress towards the company’s objective of initiating gold production. The ongoing support from Wes Maas not only underscores the potential of NMR's projects but also solidifies the confidence in the company’s strategic direction and operational execution.

In terms of project timelines, NMR remains on course to commence gold production in the third quarter of 2025. The roadmap includes resource definition drilling at the Blackjack Project, which is set to begin following encouraging results from recent diamond drilling efforts. These developments are critical as NMR aims to establish itself as a new leader in Queensland’s gold production scene.

The comprehensive plan involves meticulous drilling and construction activities, which are being executed according to schedule. The combined efforts of capital infusion and operational advancements are set to position Native Mineral Resources as a prominent player in the gold mining sector, with a clear focus on delivering substantial value to its shareholders.

This strategic funding and operational progress underline the robust potential and future prospects of Native Mineral Resources, highlighting its journey towards becoming a key gold producer in the region.
