Highlights
- High-Grade Gold Results at Thylacine Prospect: Rockchip assays return up to 62.3g/t gold, extending the surface mineralisation footprint to over 600m.
- Significant Gold Anomaly Identified: Soil geochemistry outlines a 900m strike extent at the Thylacine south zone.
- Maiden Drilling Program: Reverse circulation (RC) drilling set to commence post-heritage surveys.
Metal Hawk Limited (ASX:MHK) has reported significant exploration progress at its Leinster South project in Western Australia, further solidifying its potential in the gold-rich Agnew-Lawlers region.
Thylacine Prospect
The company’s ongoing exploration at the Thylacine prospect has delivered impressive results, with recent rockchip assays from quartz veins in the southern zone returning high-grade gold values, including:
- 62.3g/t Au (sample 24DR905)
- 32.4g/t Au (sample 24DR903)
- 31.1g/t Au (sample 24DR906)
- 30.1g/t Au (sample 24DR908)
These results extend the mineralised footprint to 600m, while soil geochemistry results have identified a 900m-long surface gold anomaly, highlighting the prospect's potential for further discoveries.
