Highlights
- A substantial 6,000m drilling campaign has begun at the Revere Gold Project.
- Results from the drilling expected by end-May 2025 following April completion.
- Aiming for a comprehensive resource estimate by late Q2 2025.
Everest Metals Corporation Ltd (ASX:EMC) has recently launched a significant regional Aircore drilling initiative spanning 6,000 meters at its esteemed Revere Gold Project located in the heart of Western Australia. This strategic move is designed to extensively test the continuity of the mineral-rich Revere Reef systems over a promising 7km strike length.
Program Details and Expected Outcomes The current drilling strategy incorporates 10 drill fence lines, which are strategically placed 400 to 800 meters apart. This arrangement includes dense 10-meter hole spacings to ensure detailed and accurate mapping of the mineral deposits, with the target depth ranging between 18 and 30 meters. The completion of this ambitious project is slated for mid-April 2025, with the assay results expected to be delivered by the end of May 2025.
In conjunction with the drilling, (ASX:EMC) is conducting a bulk sampling processing program. This has involved the excavation of a second pit, with the crushing operations set to commence without delay. This integrated approach ensures that both bulk sampling and drilling results contribute to a detailed understanding of the project’s potential.
Looking Towards a Future Resource Estimate The culmination of these efforts is anticipated to facilitate the development of an initial JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Revere project, which is on track for release in late Q2 2025. The MRE will provide a quantified look at the gold mineralization, taking into account the comprehensive data collected from the ongoing drilling and bulk sampling results.
Executive Insights CEO Mark Caruso shared his vision for the drilling campaign, stating, “Our planned Aircore drilling program is meticulously designed to explore the continuity of the Revere Reef System across approximately 7km. The synergy between our current drilling and the bulk sampling results holds the promise of unlocking additional potential targets, extending beyond the 700 meters of surface outcroppings and deeper into the Revere Reef quartz gold systems."
Caruso further noted that the combination of the drilling and the bulk sampling efforts is crucial for achieving a maiden JORC-compliant resource, underscoring the company's strategic approach to uncovering and verifying the extent of mineralization within the project area.
Through diligent exploration and strategic planning, (EMC) is poised to enhance its understanding of the Revere Gold Project's potential, setting the stage for future growth and resource development.
