Highlights

  • Successful auger drilling identifies new gold anomalies at the Ferké project.
  • Ongoing diamond and future drilling programs aim to define and expand gold resources.
  • Côte d’Ivoire continues to rise as a key player in gold exploration.

Many Peaks Minerals has unveiled new gold targets at its Ferké gold project in Côte d'Ivoire, following the completion of auger drilling activities. These results reveal new gold anomalies that have yet to undergo extensive exploration, with notable gold intercepts discovered in proximity to the Ouarigue South discovery.

New Gold Anomalies Identified

Recent drilling has uncovered significant gold anomalies extending over considerable distances. One anomaly stretches for hundreds of meters and lies just a few kilometers away from the previously established Ouarigue target. Remarkably, the auger sampling revealed a peak assay of gold several kilometers south of prior drilling intercepts. These results build upon earlier findings, including extensive gold intercepts that were previously recorded in diamond drilling.

Ongoing Exploration Efforts

Current efforts include rock chip sampling and mapping focused on high-priority anomalies. These activities are aligned with ongoing diamond drilling, which aims to further define the geometry of the gold mineralization at Ferké. Additionally, there are plans for extensive drilling campaigns, utilizing air core and reverse circulation drilling methods to target undrilled surface gold anomalies.

Strategic Location in Côte d'Ivoire

Côte d'Ivoire has become increasingly relevant in the global mining sector, with its stable political environment drawing attention from mining companies. Although historically not as dominant in gold production as its regional counterparts, the country has seen a string of new discoveries, particularly in the northwestern part of the country. Many Peaks, with its strong exploration record, stands in a prime position to benefit from the developing mining landscape in the region.

Growth of the Gold Industry in Côte d'Ivoire

The gold mining sector in Côte d'Ivoire is gaining traction, with several international companies expanding their activities in the region. The government's focus on diversifying its economy through mining, combined with significant discoveries, highlights the region's value. As exploration efforts intensify, Côte d'Ivoire is likely to continue emerging as an important player in global gold production.

Many Peaks is now advancing its exploration initiatives, with ongoing drilling at its Ferké gold project aimed at further refining the understanding of gold mineralization in the area. The company continues to map out the project’s potential by leveraging advanced techniques and extensive drilling programs to enhance knowledge of the region's mineral assets.
