  • Graphite processor to double revenue via WA facility boost
  • Exploring new international hubs in Europe and U.S.
  • Leverages proprietary tech to tap global graphite dema

International Graphite (ASX:IG6) is scaling up operations as part of a strategic vision to become a globally recognised name in battery minerals processing. The company is advancing an ambitious expansion of its graphite processing facility in Western Australia, targeting a sharp increase in output and revenue, while setting its sights on potential growth in key international markets.

The $1.7 million development plan for the Collie-based graphite micronising facility aims to significantly enhance production capacity. This move is expected to double the company’s annual revenue from $14 million to approximately $28 million, making it a notable development for investors tracking the critical minerals sector and the broader ASX200 landscape.

This expansion is part of a broader roadmap driven by International Graphite’s unique intellectual property and processing technologies. The company is leveraging its proprietary know-how to evaluate the setup of new facilities across the globe, particularly in regions where battery supply chains are growing rapidly.

Among the proposed international locations, Savannah, Georgia in the United States is under active consideration. This site aligns with growing North American demand for domestically processed battery materials. Meanwhile, the company is also exploring opportunities in Europe—an emerging powerhouse for electric vehicle and energy storage development.

With environmental regulations tightening globally and strategic supply chains becoming more critical, companies that can offer secure, transparent, and ethical mineral sourcing are in a strong position. International Graphite aims to meet these expectations by operating a vertically integrated supply chain that begins in Western Australia and potentially extends across continents.

Its current progress in WA also plays into national and global efforts to strengthen downstream processing capabilities and reduce reliance on offshore refinement. The planned capacity enhancement at Collie is more than just an infrastructure upgrade—it marks a step toward building Australia’s reputation as a sustainable, high-tech hub for battery materials.

For market watchers, International Graphite’s strategic shift from being a domestic-focused processor to a global industry player comes at a time when demand for battery-grade graphite is accelerating in response to the energy transition. As part of the growing ASX200 ecosystem, IG6’s trajectory will be closely followed by those tracking critical mineral opportunities and long-term value creation across clean energy and technology sectors.
