Iltani Resources (ASX:ILT) has announced a fresh injection of capital through a private placement of $200,000, following the successful closure of its recent share purchase plan (SPP), which brought in $965,000. The cumulative funding raised over the last month now stands at $2.97 million—an encouraging sign of investor confidence in the company's exploration roadmap.
The SPP closed on 20 June and involved the issuance of approximately 4.48 million shares at a price of $0.215 per share. With a current market capitalisation of around $13.61 million, Iltani continues to gain traction in the Australian resource exploration landscape.
The proceeds are earmarked for advancing exploration at the company’s flagship Orient Silver-Indium Project, part of the broader Herberton Project in Northern Queensland. Additional allocations include general working capital and costs related to the fundraising effort.
Iltani recently completed a versatile time-domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey at the Herberton Project. The results of this survey could be pivotal, as early indications suggest the presence of sulphide mineralisation—a potential game changer for the exploration timeline.
The company has indicated that, once data modelling is finalised, the most promising anomalies will be prioritised and targeted for drilling. This drill campaign is expected to kick off by mid to late July 2025. The broader plan also includes field visits for mapping and sampling of other anomaly zones, with follow-up modelling to determine their potential.
With increased funding and a data-driven approach to target ranking, Iltani is setting the stage for a potentially transformative phase in its exploration journey. The coming months are expected to deliver meaningful updates as the company continues to unlock value from its silver-indium prospects in Queensland.
