  • High-grade near-surface mineralisation confirmed across Reef 2 North at the Dante Project
  • Metallurgical testing yields excellent recoveries and three saleable concentrates
  • Progress underway toward a maiden mineral resource estimate based on strong drill data

Terra Metals Ltd (ASX:TM1) has confirmed extensive, high-grade, near-surface mineralisation through infill reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Reef 2 North prospect within its Dante Project in Western Australia. This latest drilling campaign has successfully closed a significant 2.7-kilometre gap in earlier drilling, verifying the continuity of mineralised zones and strengthening the geological model of the broader Reef 2 system.

Thirteen RC drillholes were completed at Reef 2 North, targeting the northern extension of the mineralised structure. Standout intersections include 15 metres at 12.89% titanium dioxide (TiO₂) and 0.28% copper equivalent (CuEq) from 42 metres in hole HRC029, which also contains a higher-grade interval of 4 metres at 21.44% TiO₂ and 0.59% CuEq. Additionally, hole HRC021 returned 9 metres at 14.46% TiO₂ and 0.29% CuEq from surface, while HRC030 intersected 4 metres at 12.96% TiO₂ and 0.43% CuEq from 72 metres.

These results confirm the continuity of thick, high-grade polymetallic mineralisation in both the hanging wall and reef zones at Reef 2 North. The consistency of mineralisation from surface and the scale of the intercepts provide further support for the potential development of a higher-tonnage resource with a lower strip ratio. These characteristics have significant implications for the project’s economic viability and mine planning.

The ongoing metallurgical testwork continues to yield promising outcomes. Phase 1 metallurgical testing of mineralised material from the Dante Reefs has produced three saleable concentrates through low-cost processing methods. These include a copper-gold-platinum group metals (PGM) sulphide concentrate, a high-purity titanium-ilmenite concentrate, and a high-grade vanadium-magnetite concentrate. The successful production of multiple commercial-grade products highlights the project's polymetallic value and processing efficiency.

In parallel, Terra Metals is progressing toward the completion of a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE), which will be based on the current drill database and sample inventory. This MRE is expected to underpin future development studies and support continued exploration and expansion activities across the project area.

The Dante Project, located in the West Musgrave region of Western Australia, hosts extensive, outcropping reef-style mineralisation across a 70-metre-thick gabbronorite unit. This geology provides a broad structural and stratigraphic framework conducive to large-scale polymetallic deposits. The project area offers significant development potential, especially for commodities such as copper, gold, titanium, platinum, and vanadium, each playing a strategic role in decarbonisation and electrification technologies.

Terra Metals' exploration focus at Reef 2 North is part of a wider effort to delineate a district-scale mineral system. Previous drilling across the broader Dante Project area has already delivered a series of high-grade intersections, and the current infill program further refines the geological understanding and development prospects of the Reef 2 trend.

The integration of strong drill results, promising metallurgical recoveries, and a scalable, near-surface mineral system positions the Dante Project as a significant emerging asset within Western Australia’s critical minerals and base metals landscape. With work progressing on the resource definition and future stages of project evaluation, the Reef 2 corridor continues to emerge as a potentially vital polymetallic hub.
