- Stibium shapes up as a significant exploration focus within Estelle Gold Project.
Nova Minerals (ASX:NVA) has unveiled significant high-grade gold and antimony results at the Stibium prospect, part of its Estelle Gold and Critical Minerals Project in Alaska. This discovery positions the prospect as a promising addition to the company’s exploration portfolio.
Rock chip sampling has revealed bonanza-grade gold of up to 141 grams per tonne (g/t), with seven samples exceeding 20 g/t gold and 16 samples grading over 5 g/t gold. In addition, antimony grades peaked at 60.5%. The sampling area spans approximately 800 meters by 400 meters and remains open for further exploration, suggesting substantial potential for additional discoveries.
The Estelle project is already recognized as a high-potential area for gold and critical minerals. Stibium’s latest findings further enhance its significance. The commodities discovered—gold and antimony—are in high demand, with both maintaining strong market prices.
Nova Minerals’ CEO, Christopher Gerteisen, highlighted the strategic value of these commodities, noting their record-high prices and growth trajectories. "This discovery underscores the potential of the Stibium prospect, aligning perfectly with our goals for the Estelle project,” he said.
The Stibium prospect has delivered remarkable results, with some of the highest grades reported in the program. Key highlights from gold sampling include 141.0 g/t, 64.7 g/t, and 42.8 g/t, while antimony results reached as high as 56.7%.
Exploration activities at Stibium have focused on delineating high-grade mineral zones. Hans Hoffman, Nova Minerals’ head of exploration, commented on the prospect’s geological appeal: “These values make Stibium a standout target for our drilling campaigns in 2025. The vertical relief and concentration of gold and antimony make it an exceptional focus area within the Estelle district.”
Future exploration at Stibium will include soil sampling and regional exploration at other Estelle prospects, including the RPM deposit and Stoney areas. These activities are expected to further define the potential resource base of this high-value project.
Nova Minerals continues to establish itself as a key player in the exploration of critical minerals, with the Estelle project emerging as a cornerstone of its strategy. The Stibium prospect adds to this momentum, showcasing exceptional grades and significant potential for future growth.
