Stellar Resources Limited (ASX:SRZ) has recently made a significant discovery at its Heemskirk Tin Project located in Western Tasmania. The discovery includes a new high-grade tin zone at the Queen Hill deposit, demonstrating promising prospects for future development.

During a recent drilling endeavor, the company successfully intersected an 11.0-meter section containing 1.07% tin (Sn), which includes an even higher concentration segment of 4.0 meters at 1.71% Sn. This was found at a depth of 327 meters within the drill hole ZQ176. Notably, the presence of visible coarse cassiterite within the extracted samples highlights the richness of the deposit.

Simon Taylor, the Managing Director of Stellar Resources, expressed his enthusiasm about the findings. "It’s very encouraging to see a new zone of tin mineralisation being intersected at Queen Hill," he remarked. Taylor further emphasized the strategic importance of the Queen Hill and Severn deposits, suggesting that they are part of a more extensive tin system that holds the potential for further expansion. This optimism is backed by the positive results received from the infill and extensional drilling programs.

Currently, Stellar Resources is in an intense phase of its exploration efforts. The company has completed 17 of the planned 24 drill holes, covering a distance of 8,290 meters. These efforts are part of a broader initiative aimed at advancing the Heemskirk project to a development-ready status. With three rigs actively drilling, and further exploration targeting the DHEM geophysical anomaly to the south of Queen Hill, the project's momentum is building.

Moreover, the company is on schedule to complete a Prefeasibility Study by the second half of 2025. This study will provide critical insights into the project's viability and outline the pathway to potential commercial production.

This recent discovery not only enhances the prospects of the Heemskirk Tin Project but also positions Stellar Resources (SRZ) to potentially become a significant player in the tin industry. The continued success of the drilling program and the strategic execution of the exploration plans are set to create substantial value for the stakeholders involved. As the drilling continues and further results are anticipated, the excitement within the industry and among investors is palpable, pointing towards a bright future for Stellar Resources in the tin market.
