Highlights

  • Seven New Anomalies Identified: High-priority targets discovered at Ives Find.
  • Future Exploration Plans Announced: Extension of surveys and upcoming drill campaigns outlined.
  • CEO Optimistic About Prospects: Results indicate strong potential for significant findings.

Albion Resources Limited (ASX:ALB) recently shared results from its comprehensive Gradient Array Induced Polarisation (GAIP) survey conducted over a strategic 2.4 km by 1.2 km segment of the Ives Find Prospect. This survey has unveiled seven resistivity and chargeability anomalies. These findings suggest the presence of quartz silica alteration and sulphide, aligning with historical data on gold-bearing quartz veins in the area. Intriguingly, the core zones of these anomalies have not been explored through drilling, highlighting their potential as prime targets for further investigation.

Moreover, an additional chargeability anomaly detected to the west near the granite intrusive contact adds another layer of interest, prompting further examination. The layout of these anomalies, extending towards the northwest and southeast, bears similarities with other granitic intrusive-hosted deposits found across Western Australia, suggesting a promising area for resource exploration.

Looking ahead, Albion Resources has laid out a clear path for advancing their exploration efforts. The company plans to expand the GAIP survey into the northwest region and is set to initiate a Dipole-Dipole Induced Polarisation Survey. This will help refine the depth and orientation of the detected anomalies. The integration of this data with soil sampling will be crucial in setting priorities for drill targets in the upcoming mid-year drilling campaign.

Additionally, the excitement extends beyond the current findings, as Albion Resources eagerly awaits the results from a second GAIP survey grid located at the highly prospective Barwidgee Fault. This area has shown considerable promise and could further elevate the company's portfolio of exploration targets.

Peter Goh, CEO of Albion Resources, expressed his enthusiasm about the survey outcomes, noting the significant and largely untested anomalies. He emphasized the strategic importance of these results, stating they bolster the prospectivity of the Ives Find area. With the soil sample results on the horizon and additional IP surveys in the pipeline, the company is well-prepared to refine its exploration strategy. The upcoming drill campaign, expected to start mid-year, is set to be a pivotal moment in Albion's exploration activities.

These developments not only underscore Albion Resources' commitment to thorough and methodical exploration but also highlight the potential for significant discoveries that could add substantial value to the company and its stakeholders.
