Caprice Resources (ASX:CRS) is making significant progress in exploration and development at its Murchison Gold Project in Western Australia. The project focuses on multiple key areas, including resource drilling, mapping, and resource upgrades, highlighting the potential for deeper gold discoveries and enhanced resources.

The company is actively working on mapping quartz reefs at Cuddingwarra, extending resources through drilling at the Island Gold Project, and upgrading resources at the New Orient Gold Line to meet JORC 2012 standards. During recent exploration activities, visible gold was identified in the quartz reefs at Cuddingwarra. Modern exploration techniques are being applied to uncover deeper mineralisation at the Island Gold Project, which holds substantial historic significance.

The Island Gold Project, a historically productive site, previously yielded shallow, high-grade gold production totaling 50,000 ounces. With ongoing drilling programs, Caprice Resources (CRS) aims to build on this success by targeting deeper mineralised zones. The New Orient Gold Line is also undergoing resource upgrades to improve its commercial viability and strengthen its standing within the company’s gold portfolio.

Looking ahead, Caprice Resources (CRS) is setting its sights on future exploration opportunities in 2025, particularly within its expansive West Arunta landholding. This underexplored region is being targeted for rare earths, gold, and copper, presenting additional growth avenues for the company. The exploration at West Arunta is expected to commence with a geophysical survey scheduled for March or April.

CEO Luke Cox emphasized the company’s strategic focus on unlocking value across its key projects. By combining modern exploration methods with historical data, Caprice Resources (CRS) is well-positioned to uncover deeper mineralisation and expand its resource base at the Murchison Gold Project.

The combination of gold-focused drilling and multi-metal exploration at West Arunta reflects a diversified approach to resource development. Caprice Resources (CRS) remains committed to advancing its exploration activities to achieve growth in gold and other critical minerals.

With ongoing work at Murchison and plans for new exploration campaigns, the company continues to strengthen its position in Western Australia’s resource sector.
