Highlights

  • Mithril Silver and Gold (MTH) is advancing drilling at its Copalquin District, with expectations to expand its gold equivalent resource.
  • Patriot Battery Metals (PMT) identifies significant caesium potential at its CV13 pegmatite, complementing its lithium resources.
  • Aurum Resources (AUE) continues its high-grade gold exploration at the Boundiali project with promising ongoing drill results.

Mithril Silver and Gold (ASX:MTH) is making strides in resource expansion at its Copalquin District project in Mexico. Recent drill results have unveiled high-grade vein intersections, including notable findings such as 4.95m at 20.5g/t gold and 1833g/t silver. These promising results underline significant strike and depth potential in an area characterized by a rich history of underground gold-silver mines within Mexico’s Sierra Madre gold-silver trend. The ongoing drilling aims to augment the existing resource of approximately 529,000 ounces of gold equivalent at the El Refugio deposit, with planned completion of 35,000 meters of drilling this year.

Patriot Battery Metals' Caesium Discovery

Patriot Battery Metals (ASX:PMT) is capitalizing on a major discovery of caesium enrichment coinciding with its Vega lithium zone (CV13). Identifying pollucite at the CV13 pegmatite adds a noteworthy dimension to its portfolio, given caesium's industrial value and its critical status in several leading economies. This enrichment represents a significant by-product opportunity as PMT advances its lithium operations in the region. As only a few global producers are involved in caesium production, this discovery potentially places PMT in a pivotal position within the minerals market.

Promising Prospects for Aurum Resources

While Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) had no new updates today, its previous announcement highlighted successful high-grade gold intersections at the Boundiali project in Côte d’Ivoire. A standout 12m at 22.02g/t gold from recent exploration underscores the potential at the BDT3 prospect. With an extensive 100,000m drill program underway aiming for two resource updates in 2025, Aurum is positioned to enhance its maiden resource of 1.59Moz and drive further growth following its recent takeover of Mako Gold.

Other Notable Initiatives

Talisman Mining (ASX:TLM) and AuMega Metals (ASX:AAM) have commenced new drilling programs. TLM's exploration at the Mabel Creek IOCG project targets promising geological features suggestive of significant mineral potential. Concurrently, AAM's efforts at the Bunker Hill project aim to further explore high-grade copper, silver, and gold occurrences, with significant exploratory developments expected in the coming months.
