Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM) has shared encouraging exploration outcomes from its Widgiemooltha project in Western Australia, with new assay results at the Cognac West prospect pointing to further mineralisation across gold and copper zones. The company is steadily progressing its campaign in the region, which lies south of Kalgoorlie and includes multiple prospects under ongoing assessment.
Drilling across two phases at Cognac West has returned noteworthy gold and copper values, particularly within two identified surface anomalies. These results are contributing to a clearer picture of the project's geological structure. According to the company, mineral signatures detected during exploration suggest the presence of a multi-phase mineral system—an observation that will help shape the next stages of geophysical modelling and exploration strategy.
Dynamic Metals is currently working on the reprocessing of an airborne electromagnetic survey, an effort designed to enhance interpretation of subsurface features near anomaly B. This anomaly showed strong gold indications during earlier drilling and continues to be an area of focus, especially where a conductive feature has been identified at its southern extent.
Over the past quarter, the company has directed efforts toward extending its exploration footprint at Widgiemooltha. This includes the collection of soil samples at the Courvoisier gold prospect, situated north of Cognac West. Additionally, a Phase 1 reverse circulation drilling campaign at Cognac West was successfully completed, leading to the Phase 2 program that produced the latest results.
Dynamic Metals also completed a transaction related to lithium rights in the region, receiving additional funding through a deferred payment structure. While the company is not part of the ASX100 stock, its activities remain closely watched in the exploration space.
Further progress is anticipated at the Chalice South prospect, where the company has secured approval for a new round of drilling. Thirteen reverse circulation holes are planned to test gold anomalies identified through historical 3D modelling. The site lies along a significant mineralised trend, aligning with previous productive zones in the region.
As exploration unfolds across multiple prospects, Dynamic Metals continues to prioritise data-driven strategies and structural insights to guide its forward momentum within the Widgiemooltha area.
