  • New assay results confirm tin, tungsten, and molybdenum at Deepwater
  • Surface and historical drilling validate mineralisation zones
  • Plans underway for expanded exploration program

Expanding Australia’s Critical Minerals Footprint

Terra Uranium (ASX:T92) has reported new assay findings from its Deepwater project in New South Wales, revealing notable tin, tungsten, and molybdenum mineralisation. While the company is not part of the ASX 100 stocks, the development marks a significant step in strengthening Australia’s critical minerals sector.

The results stem from both surface sampling and historic drill data, with mineralisation identified across multiple zones at the Echo, Marshalls, and Hoppers prospects. The acquisition of 100% ownership through the Dundee Resources transaction gives Terra full control to integrate Deepwater into its broader strategy targeting tin, tungsten, molybdenum, and bismuth.

Historic Data Supports Current Findings

Validation of Previous Exploration

A detailed review of historic drilling by earlier explorers confirms mineralisation stretches for several kilometres along the northern margin of the Kingsgate Leucogranite formation. Mineralisation has also been recorded in surrounding altered sediments, reinforcing the project’s multi-metal potential.

The company’s verification process has brought this historic work in line with JORC standards, enabling formal reporting under current compliance frameworks. This step provides a solid technical base for Terra’s ongoing exploration approach.

Future Exploration Pathway

Mapping and Fieldwork Plans

Terra is preparing for a new phase of exploration activity, including further mapping and geological validation. The focus will be on refining target areas for drilling while assessing additional mineralisation indicators such as bismuth, silver, and lead found in surface samples.

While broadening its critical minerals portfolio in Australia, Terra continues to retain its uranium projects in Canada’s Athabasca Basin. These uranium holdings remain a strategic part of its long-term plans, positioned for future advancement when market conditions become more favourable.
