Global Uranium (ASX:GUE) has announced a successful capital raise of A$10.0 million, securing commitments for a strategic placement to support the acquisition and development of the Pine Ridge ISR Uranium Project. The funding will be used to advance exploration activities and expedite development plans, strengthening the company's position in the North American uranium sector.
The placement involves the issuance of 153.8 million new shares at A$0.065 per share. This transaction remains subject to shareholder approval, along with Snow Lake Energy completing its due diligence process.
Joint Venture with Snow Lake Energy
A significant component of this capital raise is a joint venture agreement with Snow Lake Energy. The two companies have entered into an agreement to acquire a 100% stake in the Pine Ridge ISR Uranium Project, located in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin. Snow Lake Energy has committed A$5.8 million as part of the placement, securing a 19.9% equity stake in Global Uranium.
As part of the partnership, Snow Lake Energy’s CEO, Frank Wheatley, will be appointed to the board of Global Uranium as a Non-Executive Director, bringing additional expertise and leadership to the company.
Accelerating Development & Growth
With this funding in place, Global Uranium aims to advance its development plans for Pine Ridge ISR, leveraging the project's extensive historical exploration and substantial Exploration Target. The company views Pine Ridge as a flagship asset within its growing portfolio of high-quality uranium projects in North America.
Global Uranium’s Managing Director, Andrew Ferrier, highlighted the importance of this milestone, emphasizing that the funds will drive aggressive exploration and development efforts. He expressed confidence in the partnership with Snow Lake Energy, positioning the company for long-term growth in the uranium sector.
