Interactive media, also referred to as interactive multimedia, is a computer-delivered electronic system which allows users to alter, combine, and control many forms of media, including animation, video, sound, text, and computer graphics. It is a type of communication in which the user's inputs influence the program's outputs.

In a nutshell, it refers to how individuals gather, organise, and disseminate information. Television and radio are the most prevalent instances of non-interactive media, but apps, social media, and virtual reality are all kinds of interactive media.

In this backdrop, let us discuss four interactive media stocks from ASX and how their share prices have fared so far  this month.

Tinybeans Group Ltd (ASX:TNY)

Tinybeans offers mobile and web-based technology platforms with segments in Australia and the United States. Through this platform, people can click and share their children’s life stories with family. Its platform provides photo-sharing on a private basis and journaling application. The company also offers printed products, subscriptions, and advertisements.

In the third quarter of FY22, Tinybeans delivered a strong performance with a revenue generation of US$1.85million, up 40% compared to the previous corresponding period (pcp).

  • Advertising revenues - up 37% Year on Year (YoY)
  • Paid subscriptions - up 110% YoY

Shares of Tinybeans have gained nearly 37% this month-to-date

Frontier Digital Ventures Ltd (ASX:FDV)

Frontier Digital Ventures Ltd is a company specialising in online classifieds businesses. Based in Malaysia, it is working in underdeveloped, developing nations or regions.

The company's property management marketplaces include iMyanmarHouse.com, LankaPropertyWeb.com, MeQasa.com, Zameen.com, Propertypro.ng, infocasas.com.uy, Hoppler.com.ph and Fincaraiz.com.co.

Its automotive marketplaces include CarsDB.com, Moteur.ma, PakWheels.com and Autodeal.com.ph.

Its general marketplaces span Encuentra24.com, Avito.ma, Tayara.tn and Yapo.cl.

The share price of Frontier is up by nearly 21% this month to date.

Airtasker Ltd (ASX:ART)

Airtasker Limited provides a technology-enabled online marketplace program for local services. It helps in connecting customers to  community members who work or complete tasks to earn money (taskers). The company offers different kinds of tasks like gardening, cleaning, delivering and handyman work to tasks for businesses like promotional work, office admin or computer and information technology support.

In May, the company successfully acquired the major assets of Oneflare Pty Ltd and completed the settlement of the first tranche of its nearly AU$6.25 million fully underwritten share placement.

Airtasker has provided nearly 16% price return to its investors this month to date.

Hipages Group Holdings Ltd (ASX:HPG)

Hipages Group Holdings runs an online tradie marketplace and provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). It links tradies commercial and residential consumers throughout the country. It operates as an online platform marketplace, connecting users with traders for home improvement by posting a job on the platform.

The company's brands are Hipages and Tradiecor . Tradiecore is a SaaS product aiding tradies to optimise their business while improving the experience for their clients. This SaaS product offers major functionalities ranging from quoting and invoicing to scheduling.

Hipages has gained nearly 13% this month to date.
