Investing.com - Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump announced the launch of Trump Mobile, a new wireless service that will operate on existing major carrier networks, according to a press release statement.
The service’s primary offering, called "The 47 Plan," costs $47.45 monthly and includes unlimited talk, text, and data, along with device protection and roadside assistance through Drive America. The plan also features telehealth services and free international calling to over 100 countries.
Trump Mobile will utilize the 5G networks of all three major cellular carriers in the United States. The company claims its customer service will be based in the U.S. and staffed by real people rather than automated systems.
"Trump Mobile is going to change the game," Donald Trump Jr. said in the press release.
The company also announced plans to release a smartphone called the "T1 Phone" in August, described as a gold-colored device designed and built in the United States.
The announcement coincided with the 10-year anniversary of former President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign launch. Customers can sign up by calling the company’s customer service line.
According to the press release, Trump Mobile is operated by T1 Mobile LLC, which uses the Trump name under a limited license agreement. The Trump Organization is not directly involved in designing, developing, manufacturing, or selling the service.
