Linius Unveils Personalized TV In A ‘Handful Of Clicks’ With Self-Service Video Widget

Linius Technologies Limited (ASX: LNU), based in South Yarra, Australia, is revolutionizing the way organizations and individuals produce, deliver and consume video, thereby enabling hyper-personalized video experiences that were previously impossible worldwide.

In its quest to innovate at the backdrop of these radical developments, Linius Technologies has launched a self-service embeddable widget in collaboration with systems integrator, Hemisphere, a leading internet software development company specializing in the creation and monetization of online video delivery solutions. The two parties partnered in March 2018 to build the application on Linius’ SaaS platform, Linius Video Services (LVS).

The Widget Suite application, the VVE-powered Video Hyper-Personalization and Search Solution, enables any enterprise to allow its viewers to search data within the video content, from infinite sources, and congregate hyper-personalized videos rapidly without the need for any human intervention. With a simple YouTube-like code snippet, clients can even independently install the plug and play application at their end with no intervention by Linius, embedding the full-capability on their website within one hour.

The new technology holds great significance and would be largely advantageous for rights holders, publishers, and distributers of digital video. The revenue from the Widget Suite for the two companies, Linius and Hemisphere, will be derived through API consumption charges, in accord with its existing SaaS pricing model.

Hemisphere CEO, Glyn Beaumont quoted, “Taking just a handful of clicks to set-up, clients can quickly increase the value of their video content with the Widget Suite, using video hyper-personalization to boost audience engagement, create additional subscription and advertising revenues, and monetize archival footage.”

Linius can exclusively access the data within the video file, which is usually the missing link for its peers, and therefore it creates an unparalleled value across the internet video industry today.

The Australian video solution vendor is all set to disrupt the entire multi-billion-dollar industries with its ground-breaking products. The company’s marketing activity is initially targeting to deliver its Video Hyper-Personalization and Search Solution to six key markets including Education, News and Media, Corporate Communications, Sports Broadcasters and Rights Holders, Security and Defense, and Sports Betting.

Besides, to enable the marketing of all these applications, Linius has also launched a marketplace to support LVS that offers clients with easy access.

To fund its commercial pursuits until 2020, the company recently raised around $ 3.5 million via a placement to professional and sophisticated investors. In the quarter ended March’19, crucial headways were accomplished, and the net cash balance amounted to $ 2.7 million at the close of the period.

With a current market capitalization of around $ 31.37 million, the LNU stock price settled the day’s trading at AUD 0.029 on May 6th, 2019.
