Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) has officially commenced earthworks at its Remorse target. Following delays caused by adverse weather and flooding, which impacted safe access, the company has established safe entry points and initiated the earthworks. This initial phase involves constructing site access tracks and drill pads, essential for the upcoming drilling operations.
With earthworks underway, Tempest Minerals expects drilling to begin shortly after these preparatory tasks are completed, with a targeted start date in late August 2024.
The drilling program will involve approximately 5,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling, focusing on the promising Remorse Target, a key component of Tempest’s flagship Yalgoo Project known for its potential in copper mineralisation.
As the company moves forward, the immediate next steps include completing the earthworks and launching the planned drilling operations by late August 2024.
