Mike Roche, an experienced geologist, will also contribute to the drilling program.
New Appointments’ Expertise:
- Sean Halpin
He brings over 36 years of geological expertise, including roles in Australia and Africa. His extensive career spans the entire mining value chain, from exploration and drilling to resource development and mining operations in open pit and underground settings.
Halpin has held senior technical roles at several junior exploration companies and recently managed exploration and resource development campaigns covering lithium, gold, base metals, and iron ore across Western Australia ’s Pilbara and Murchison regions, as well as gold exploration in South Australia's Gawler Craton.
Known for his leadership, safety management, and ability to build large, multi-disciplinary teams, Halpin has consistently delivered on operational, safety, and commercial goals.
- Aaron Hawley
With 30 years in exploration and mining, Hawley has significant experience in early stage "greenfield" projects, regional to detailed mapping, designing and implementation of sampling programs, and follow-up drilling leading to significant mineral discoveries.
Moreover, he also evaluated "brownfield" projects for untested mineral potential and performed project appraisals.
Most notably, Hawley was instrumental in the discovery of the Andover Lithium Project during his tenure at Azure Minerals.
- Mike Roche
Roche has three years of experience as an exploration geologist in Western Australia, focusing on commodities, including iron ore, nickel, copper, gold, rare earth elements (REEs), and lithium.
In his most recent roles, he served as an exploration geologist for Azure Minerals at the Andover Lithium Project. During his time at Azure, he successfully identified previously unknown spodumene-hosted outcrops through regional rock chip sampling and mapping programs.
His skills in mapping, core and RC logging, structural interpretation are expected to be valuable for the company.
These appointments bring valuable lithium exploration expertise. As the drilling campaign progresses, Raiden may strengthen the team with additional key hires.
